The Kardia Foundation has embarked on a unique and tightly focused healthcare ministry outreach by providing clinical healthcare for performing artists, particularly dancers. Our organization sits underneath the artistic mission agency Artists in Christian Testimony International. Our synergistic alliance with A.C.T. provides administrative support and an additional international platform for our work, particularly our ministry in performing arts medicine.
The President of The Kardia Foundation, Jeff Russell, is a Certified Athletic Trainer (USA) with more than 25 years of experience in sports medicine and performing arts medicine. He is currently serving with his family in England, where he is completing his PhD in dance medicine.

Dancers are excellent students with a thirst to learn more about injuries and their care

Dance injuries are not only very common, but specialized knowledge is required to manage them properly because of the unique demands dancers place on their bodies. In a seminar environment we are able to teach dancers about injuries and their care.

In a clinical environment, Kardia staff focus on more than just physical care. We promote whole person care that encompasses the physical, psychoemotional, and spiritual dimensions of the patient.
