Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an
army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"
So
he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
Then Elisha prayed and said,
"O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And the Lord opend the servant's eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain
was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-17 NASB
Why are our Prayer Partners called Chariots of Fire?
In this great story in 2 Kings of Elisha and his servant we see an inspiring trust
in God that gave Elisha confidence that the battle was won because God had reinforcements stationed all around. Similarly,
our Chariots of Fire, our precious prayer partners, give us confidence in our own "battles" because they are a silent, yet
effective, force that God uses to outnumber our enemies and win victories in our struggles.
What is Required of a Chariot of Fire?
As one of our Chariots of Fire, you simply agree to consistently pray for our work. Every Chariots
of Fire partner will receive a periodic e-mail listing current, specific prayer requests. Not only will the e-mail
be your handy reminder to present our petitions to the Lord, it will be your priority link to the excitement of ministry events
as they unfold. You will be actively participating in front line international outreach! In addition to the prayer communications,
our Chariots of Fire will receive our standard monthly updates about our ministry.
